Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026. How we protect your privacy when using FakeTwitterPost.com.
1. Overview and Privacy Philosophy
At FakeTwitterPost ("we", "us", or "our"), respecting user privacy is central to our architectural design. We engineered our mockup generation application to operate entirely client-side inside your web browser. This means that unlike traditional web applications that upload your uploaded photos, avatar images, and draft texts to remote databases or external servers for rasterization, our tool performs all computations locally on your machine.
2. Image Upload Privacy & Processing
When you upload an image to FakeTwitterPost—such as a custom avatar picture or media attachments for a tweet mockup:
- Local In-Memory Execution: The image file is read exclusively using the HTML5
FileReaderAPI into your local web browser session memory as a Base64 data URI or blob. - No Server Upload: Your uploaded images are never transmitted across the network to our web server, cloud storage buckets, or third-party computer vision APIs.
- No Permanent Storage: Once you close or reload the browser tab, any uploaded media in volatile memory is cleared unless you explicitly choose to save a draft into your own browser's Local Storage.
3. Local Browser Storage (localStorage)
FakeTwitterPost utilizes the standard browser localStorage API for two specific convenience features:
- Theme Preference (
faketwitterpost_theme): Remembers whether you selected Light Mode or Dark Mode between visits. - Saved Drafts (
faketwitterpost_saved_draft): If and only if you voluntarily click the "Save Draft" button, your current tweet mockup configuration (names, handles, text, counters, and images) is stored locally on your device. You can clear this anytime by resetting your browser storage or clicking "Reset All".
This data remains completely on your device and is never synchronized to any remote database.
4. Information We May Collect Automatically (Hosting & Server Logs)
Like virtually all web hosts (such as Hostinger, Cloudflare, or Apache/Nginx web servers), when you request web pages from our site, our hosting infrastructure automatically receives standard technical request data in web access logs:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address.
- Browser type, version, and operating system.
- Referring URL and requested page paths.
- Date and timestamp of the HTTP request.
This telemetry is collected strictly for security defense, DDoS mitigation, debugging server downtime, and aggregate traffic diagnostics. It is not merged with any personal identities.
5. Cookies and Web Analytics
FakeTwitterPost does not deploy invasive cross-site tracking cookies, behavioral ad-profiling beacons, or fingerprinting scripts. If anonymous web analytics (such as privacy-friendly page view metrics) are enabled in the future to understand which tools are popular, we will disclose them here with appropriate opt-out capabilities.
6. Third-Party Links & External Services
Our website may contain links to external sites (e.g., social networks, educational references, or partners). We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. We encourage you to review their individual privacy declarations.
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
FakeTwitterPost does not intentionally collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has inadvertently submitted personally identifiable information through our contact email, please contact us immediately, and we will delete such data from our correspondence logs.
8. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA / CPRA)
Depending on your location, you may have rights under data privacy regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- The right to know what personal data is retained about you.
- The right to request rectification or deletion of correspondence records.
- The right to object to or restrict processing.
Because we do not store your mockup images or user accounts, there are no user profiles to delete on our end—you maintain total control over your local device cache.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory enhancements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
